In the picture to the left was around the time I had just been diagnosed with Lupus. Didn’t know anything about it but it was a scary time in my life. I tried my best to smile. My best to live my life normally. I’m posting this photo along with the one on the right because I went to the doctor and know that I’m still scared but not as much. I’m not alone. I have wonderful friends and family who loved me and still love me even when I don’t look so great. On days when its hard to smile. They help me become stronger. To find my own strength. I am so thankful for all of the love and support shown to me. So much is always being found out about this autoimmune disease and while I have it… I refuse to let it have me. #life #livingwithlupus #lupusawareness (Taken with instagram)
